Colon Cleansing Diet
Cleansing the colon helps to get rid of toxins so that the body’s resources are more effective in fighting disease. It is best to start the colon cleanse along with a diet designed to eliminate all processed foods and by eating fresh fruits and vegetables along with lean protein and good fats (flax, olive and borage).
Internal cleansing consists of a colon cleanse, parasite cleanse, kidney cleanse and liver cleanse. They are the key elements to an overall cleansing and detoxification plan. The colon, kidneys and liver are the primary elimination organs in the body. They help eliminate waste and toxins and if they don’t function properly there is a build up of toxins and as a result disease, lack of energy, obesity and other symptoms can appear.
The colon is a very vital organ and an unhealthy one can cause disease of the liver, heart, brain and other organs in the body. Crohn’s disease and colitis are signs of an unhealthy colon. The kidneys are also an important organ in the body and kidney stones and urinary tract infections are signs that the kidney may not be healthy. The liver provides many necessary functions in the body a
nd if it is not healthy allergies, a poor immune system, malnutrition, hepatitis and gallstones can be the result.
Including a parasite cleanse is another important cleanse to consider. Parasites can derive food, nutrition and shelter in our bodies and they will naturally migrate to those areas of the body that is not functioning optimally. They can be present in our blood, joints and other organs. If you have pets, chances are you have parasites.
If you are going to undertake an internal cleanse it is very important to start with a Colon Cleanse, followed by a Kidney Cleanse and then a Liver Cleanse. The reason for this order is that the liver is generally full of toxins and when you undergo a liver cleanse, the liver release all the stored toxins into the body. It is then the job of the colon and kidneys to eliminate those toxins. If your colon is not functioning property, for instance you are constipated, or if your kidneys aren’t functioning well, you end up with the toxins being reabsorbed by the liver. As a result, you end up where you started and are not better for the experience. The colon and kidney need to be functioning at their peak before you undertake a liver cleanse.
The parasite cleanse should be done following the colon cleanse and then followed by the kidney cleanse and then the liver cleanse.
